Mayfair Mining & Minerals, Inc. (the "Company"), a Nevada corporation, was listed on the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board in the United States from August 2004 to November 2006, when the Company was relegated to the Pink Sheets. For information concerning our listing history, please see our News Release dated January 25, 2007. The Company has also, since December 2005, been listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in Germany, under the symbol "M1M".
Shortly after inception, the Company entered into a joint venture partnership with a Zambian family and formed a private Zambian operating company to develop two mining projects. We have also been successful in obtaining limited equity financing for our operations in Zambia. The Company, together with local partners, has established good relationships with the Ministry of Mining in Zambia and the local community in the areas of our mining activities. The Company enjoys a balanced management team with many years of experience in geology and public company financing. We are an emerging mineral exploration and development company in an early growth stage, seeking to provide an opportunity for investors to participate in diversified projects and planned future growth in the mining industry in Africa.
The Company has attempted to create an attractive capital structure. Management has a strong commitment to work very diligently in an effort to create shareholder value through the planned acquisition and development of new gold and other precious metal, mineral and gemstone deposits. We are completely focused on Africa, a continent with, we believe, huge upside exploration potential in many countries on the continent, and these countries currently have what we view as increasingly friendly mining laws and regulations. We have a commitment and plan to limit exposure to any single metal price or country risk by seeking development of a broad portfolio of mining prospects in many countries, all within the Southern African Development Community (SADC). The management and members of the Board of Directors of the Company currently enjoy strong relationships with many mining industry executives and Government agencies across the SADC, providing many opportunities to review, joint venture, partner or acquire potential mining projects.
All of the Company's proposed operations, discussed throughout this website, are subject to available financing. The Company currently has no confirmed sources of financing and will continue to seek financing for its proposed operations, but there can be no assurance it will be successful in this regard.
For complete disclosure information concerning the Company, including its financial condition, please see our filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, at
